Click a certain event type in the figure (such as remote door control or normal door entrance),

select the event type to be linked and click the “Next” button, the page will switch to the linkage

equipment page, as shown in the figure below:

The alternative door or readers are listed on the left side in the figure; one linkage setting can

only select one piece of equipment. The alternative DVR cameras, views, multi-views are listed

on the right side. The selection of single camera, view and multi-view is exclusive, too. Views

and multi-views can be selected directly from the list box below, and single cameras can be

selected from the DVR name in the list box below and from the camera list of the DVR on the

right side. One equipment alternative (a door area or card reader) can only set one linkage

corresponding to the same type of events. (As shown in the figure above, if door Door1001_1 set

a normal door entrance linkage again after a linkage, other door can set it, but there is no

Door1001_1 in door area alternatives).

There are two options in the actions on the left of the figure; pop-up windows and video

recording. If selected, a linkage action of the pop-up of a monitoring window will happen in a

real-time event interface when the events happen in the selected equipment, and the video

recorder begins to record automatically. The timing recording has five alternatives: “lasting, two

minutes, three minutes, five minutes and ten minutes.”

When all the items are selected, click the “Add” button, system will show the prompt of

“successful addition!” the linkage addition is finished.

5.4.2 Delete a linkage

Select the record to be deleted in the linkage list, click the “Delete” button, the system will show

the prompt of “Are you sure you want to delete the selected linkage?” If yes, click the “Confirm”

button, if not, please click the “Cancel” button.

5.4.3 Preview

Select a linkage in the linkage list, click “Preview” button, the preview picture of the linkage will

pop up, as shown in the figure:
